The importance of an independent consultant:
With Aircraft Management & Consultants you will have the advantage of working with award winning VIP Aircraft and Private Yacht interior designers together with people who have a thorough understanding of both the FAA, and European Civil Aviation Certification Requirements, combined with the personal knowledge of highly experienced Pilots and Managers who understand the complete operational needs and requirements of owners and principals in a complex new cabin-outfitting or refurbishment project, from the smallest to the largest, Business and Private VIP jet.
The AMC Team will oversee and manage the entire project from aircraft acquisition, interior design, to the final test flight and delivery. This can save you a great deal of time and expense in meeting your expectations for design, quality and most importantly your personal comfort and convenience.
The following are a few stages and items that will need to be considered:
- Planning ahead: Available slots for the completion or refurbishment of a Long range business jet or the conversion of a single or twin-aisle airliner to an executive/VIP jet interior configuration should ideally be planned a year or more in advance.
- Your personal Interior requirements: High speed internet connectivity, High-definition entertainment system and monitors, Cabin Moving map display, Type of seating /material and required configuration, Galley amenities, Lighting, bathroom facilities in addition to the finer realistic details that can exceed your expectations.
If the aircraft is being made available for charter, this could have a significant effect on materials being used and public transport signage. - Interior and Cabin Design: AMC have the privilege of working with one of the top and award winning VIP Aircraft and Yacht design teams in the UK. You will have a dedicated team who will work with you throughout your project to ensure your exacting needs and requirements.
- Choosing a Completion and Refurbishment centre: Careful consideration is required with the selection of a suitable completion center. AMC can advise on the most suitable and quality assured facility to meet your exacting requirements.
- Always consider resale value: Highly personalized or unusual cabin designs can greatly reduce the resale value by limiting the market by reducing the potential pool of buyers.
- Finally the “cold soak” flight: The completed aircraft should be flown to its maximum certified altitude and all systems, units and cabinet functions checked thoroughly. There would normally be several hours of flight tests particularly for a larger type with the second or third flight being reserved for the owner and/or consultant and guests. The flight would normally be of a distance that would confirm the quality and workmanship is to the highest standard and the opportunity for the guests to use and examine all the passenger cabin controls for functionality.
